Stalled Spaces event at the Lighthouse in Glasgow

Sue and judi recently presented at the Stalled Spaces event at the Lighthouse in Glasgow. This Architecture & Design Scotland initiative, showcased innovative projects who are animating vacant and derelict land around the country.

Sue and Judi presented on their energising work with loose materials  and their potential along with Adventure Playgrounds for using and developing slack spaces.



Completion of Hayburn Playpark

Working with the Hayburn Playpark Association, Judi and Sue have now completed sketch designs for this fantastic and much treasured park in Glasgow. Including many natural play and locally managed features we look forward to the next exciting phase of delivery.


National Play Project, Grounds for Learning update

16th Feb 2015

In March 2015 the 3 year National Play Project coordinated by Grounds for Learning will be completed. Judi has been the consultant creative director for this project delivering 30 innovative school grounds schemes and working to embed practice across 6 local authorities. Every project includes a variety of challenging play features, sand and water as well as working with loose materials.


“How to Grow a Playspace: Design and Development” book contribution

We are very happy to be participating in the writing of a book to be published by Routledge in January 2017. With many international contributors from the worlds of play and design (including our PLAYLINK colleagues), the main authors are Elizabeth Cummins and Katherine Masiulanis from Bricolage Design Melbourne, Australia.
