Stick, Stones and STEM – hands on science, technology and maths outdoors

Using vegetable and mineral artefacts (sticks and stones), this course capitalizes on human relationships with the local and global environment and how we can sustainably use its resources for learning, development and citizenship.

It will feature 101 ways to do practical and meaningful (and sometimes messy) maths outdoors (will not include measuring the playground) and how these tasks help us to interpret, analyse, simplify, solve and make informed decisions.

A range of stunning stone and stick resources and collections available for participants to take away.
