Wildside in Scotland has received funding from the Forestry Commission Community Fund to support teachers to develop their Outdoor Learning practice and professional development.
Our specialist advisers are available to come to your school and work with you to develop lessons or programmes of work in Curriculum for Excellence Outdoors, Forest Schools activity or adventure play. Our expertise will support your planning and access resources for the session(s) and we will deliver sessions in partnership with you, providing additional technical support and in class mentoring such as in fire making/cooking, shelter building and knots, bushcraft and tool use. This would include support in risk management procedures.
